Passionate about creating change in your community? Got an idea that could change the world? Are you interested in the mental health issues that face Australians?

If you answered ‘Yes’ to the questions above, you are invited to attend the 2017 IMPACT National Conference at the brand new co-working space, Fishburners, in Brisbane from 12-13 August.

This year we’re trying something a little different, and throughout this two-day conference, you’ll be tackling an issue that almost 1 in 5 Australians have experienced: mental illness.

We’ll be challenging you to design social enterprise solutions for gaps in the mental health sector and support services. You’ll not only be gaining unique insights on this issue, but we’ll also be equipping you with all the skills and know-how that you need to launch your own social enterprise!

We’ll be having experts on mental health, social entrepreneurs tackling the issue, and an inspiring line up of speakers from some of the most innovative startups, including: Spur Projects, Magikraft, Undress Runways, Fishburners, and more! Apart from learning about a plethora of amazing things, you’ll also be meeting a unique group of young people who’ll be with you every step of the way as you learn about social enterprise, create your own, and pitch to our judges.

But hold on – what is this social enterprise thing, anyway? Social enterprise is the fusion of business and charity. It’s a new way of creating change that uses the power of business to solve social issues.

Your place at the Conference includes a conference bag, food, and other goodies so that all you have to do is show up and soak it all in!

We hope to see you there!
